Have you ever asked one of your friends, when are they getting married? or have anyone ever ask you when you are getting married?
I once had experience in this kind of question, when one of my friends asked me when am I getting married? To be honest, It’s really stressing me.

When you were asked about getting married by your friends or family, are you tend to felt like people were pushing you to get married quickly? Though, we know they just teasing you. But, honestly, it’s really annoying.
A long time ago, when I got a text from my friend saying that she is getting married, I felt so sad, not because I hated my friend but because she will no longer go hang out with us. As a friend, I should encourage her and be happy for her, she is 3 years younger than me, I felt left behind. Haha.
At that time when she texted me saying she will tie a knot with her partner. My response was “Congratulations!”.
Anyway, I am happy but at the same time jealous, like who does not get jealous right? when one of your friends was getting married before you. I get mad with my partner because he took a long time to propose. Little that I know, I have actually pushed him and stressing him about marriage. And after a while, I felt sorry for him because I pushing someone to do something both of us not ready yet.
I wanted to get married, but, it is not just about money, it’s about commitment. If you ready to get married, you wouldn’t have the doubts to do so. You have to understand that getting married took a lot of commitment, a duty, and be one with another. Ever wonder why do people take a long time to get married? It’s because of money or commitment.
And that time I realize that I am actually eager to get married not because I wanted to but because of the pressure. There’s a word saying :
Don’t rush your time. Everything had their own time.
We should take this moment to enjoy with our partner. I know, everyone had their own opinion. Yes, I do agree with that, but, our time will come soon. Meanwhile, just be grateful and embrace each other.
